China’s Commercial Times reports that the productions of the iPad 2 and iPhone 5 will commence in February and May this year, respectively.
For the iPad 2 this could very well mean that the rumors of its April launch may turn out true. The Chinese report also states that Foxconn and Pegatron will work with Apple as manufacturing partners for the second-generation iPad.
Further, the report claims that Apple is likely to begin production for the fifth-generation iPhone. This, too, stands in tune with Apple’s policy to release a new iPhone in June.
