Facebook Chat has virtually destroyed the conventional IM. No matter how hard GTalk, Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live Messenger try to please the users, their era is coming to an end. However, I am sure most of us miss the actual ‘IM-feel’ in Facebook Chat. Not anymore. FacebookDiscovery is a great new freeware that brings messenger-style chatting experience to Facebook Chat.
Just download and install FacebookDiscovery utility and enjoy messenger-style lists of your online friends and chat IM windows. It’s simple and much more user-friendly. You can update your Facebook Status messages from the interface itself, save your conversations locally and get tray notifications when someone logs in/out.
The only thing I disliked about the software is that once you feed in your account details, it automatically makes you ‘like’ the application and updates your wall. (Thanks Shiny).
