iPhone 4G is just around the corner and so this might not come as a surprise that
Apple has not only sliced down the price of iPhone 3GS to $97 but also
discontinued the iPhone 3G. This is being done to make room for the brand new iPhone 4G.
Today, Wallmart officially dropped the iPhone 3GS price down to $97 and Apple stopped shipping the iPhone 3G (8GB) to AT&T stores. No more orders for the same will be taken. It is expected that Steve Jobs will announce the new iPhone 4G at WWDC event on June 7 along with a glimpse of the new Mac OS X version.

The wait is over. The official
Twitter app for the
iPhone is now available on the Apple’s
app store. Formerly known as Tweetie until version 2, the excellent and highly acclaimed app was acquired by Twitter a few months ago. Now it’s available for download under the name ‘Twitter for iPhone’ and is apparently labelled ‘version 3.0’. Before the acquisition, the app was priced $2.99 on the app store which can now be downloaded for free.
Twitter for iPhone (aka Tweetie 3.0) is definite to surpass the awesomeness of its predecessors. It’s a must have app on the iPhone.
Previously we did a post on official Twitter app for the Android. Do check it out too.

Back in January 2010,
Apple Insider reported the possibility of LED camera flash in iPhone 4G. Now the latest reports are coming in from
The Chosum libo that iPhone 4G will indeed have an advanced 5MP LED flash camera manufactured by a Korea based company, LG Innotek.
Rumors already had it that the iPhone 4G will be big on camera. The brutal dissection saga of the iPhone 4G by Gizmodo also revealed a front-facing camera along with a LED Flash on the back.

With a 5MP camera, the next iPhone will come in line with what’s offered by Google’s Nexus One. Hopefully, Apple will unveil the iPhone 4G at the annual WWDC 2010 during June 7-11 in San Fran. Other much anticipated features in the next iPhone are native Facebook integration, a better resolution screen, video conferencing using iChat app and overall performance boost. [via]
