iPad 2 arrives in US on April 2 or April 9; more countries 3 months later

Reports are coming in that the new generation iPad, the iPad 2, will see the light of the day in Apple Stores across US on April 2 or April 9. The launch pattern is similar to the original iPad whereby the iPad 2 will be made available to more countries 3 months later.

More interestingly, the new iPad 2 will be made available US-only for the first 3 months and Apple store-only for the first 6 months. Retail chains like Wallmart and BestBuy can sell the devices only after October 2011.

Some new features in the iPad 2:

Retina display (The pixel density won’t be as high as that in the iPhone 4)
USB port
Two cameras

Blackberry tablet arrives – The Playbook [Technical specifications + Video]

In a web developer conference held by Research In Motion (RIM, as we know it) in San Fran, the company’s brand new tablet, called The Playbook, has been revealed. Without beating about the bush, here is the first glimpse of the device followed by the technical specifications.
