Mozilla just released the Firefox for Maemo 1.1 which you can download or receive as a software update if you are already running Firefox for Maemo, that is. The new update brings in better experience to the mobile browser, some of which are –

• Browsing ability in landscape and portrait mode
• Personalized Start page
• Full add-on gallery with add-on auto-update feature
• Enhancements in auto-complete of online forms
• Smart Tapping for accurate tapping on links and other web-content
• Zoom in and out using volume control
• ‘Open links in new tab’ feature
• Enhanced ‘Site Menu’
