Quick-Tip

If you want to track number of visits to your published documents at Google Docs, you can easily do so by using Google Analytics. I assume that you have already made an account in Google Analytics. If you havent, make one. It hardly takes a minute.

Now to track visits to your documents,

» Login to your Google Docs account.

» On the top-right corner, click ‘Settings’ > ‘Documents settings’.

» In the Settings page, click on ‘Editing’ tab.

» Here you will find the ‘Document tracking’ where you can enter your Google Analytics tracking code. It’s something like UA-123456-7. (Find your Google Analytics tracking code here).

Tracking visitors in Google Docs

» Click ‘Save’ and you are ready to track your Google Doc visitors in Analytics. :)
