uTorrent, one of the widely used torrent client, just reached the version 2.1 Alpha milestone adding some new features like the ‘mini-mode’ and ‘streaming’. Of course, you might not go ‘whoa!’ over it but I am sure ‘mini-mode’ is something that you’d hate to miss.
uTorrent 2.1 Alpha ‘Mini-Mode’:
The screenshot above shows the ‘mini-mode’ activated in uTorrent 2.1 Alpha.
Streaming:
Although I have not fully tested the ‘stream’ feature but it seems like uTorrent is going to allow you to preview a video while it is being downloaded.
Once you click the ‘Force Streaming’ menu option, the video starts playing in your default browser. It uses DivX Web Player 1.5 to do the same [A newer version is available but the uTorrent site recommends version 1.5]. So you might want to download it.

utorrent rocks! however, i think i’ll wait for the final version.
I have installed 2.1 Alpha and it’s running as awesome as ever. It is considerably stable if that’s your concern. :)
