Since the devastating earthquake happened in Haiti, it’s not surprising that earthquakes are among the hottest trending topics all over the internet. Earthquakes are more destructive because nothing much can be done about them. However, it would be really helpful to know about the earthquakes happening across the globe in real-time. I mean, at least for the sake of ‘knowing’ where it’s happening gives some chance to take precautionary measures.

The United States Geological Survey has set up a system on their website that keeps track earthquakes happening in the world in real-time. The USGS is a science organization that focuses on biology, geography, natural resources and the related technological development.
