Add Facebook to Gmail using a Chrome extension

If you are one of those who went ‘whoa’ on seeing the Buzz feature in Gmail, I think you might go once again as well. Because this time, we have something more substantial that seamlessly merges two massive web services in to one – The Gmail Facebook integration extension for Chrome.

The Gmail Facebook integration:

Well, the name itself is pretty self explanatory. This Google Chrome extension adds a new ‘Facebook’ option just like ‘Buzz’.

If you were to ask me, I’d say the extension is pretty minimalistic in a good way. However, I have some beginner tips for you. Make sure you open Facebook in a different tab while installation and during the first run of this extension because I have found some login problems while directly logging into Facebook using this extension. Secondly, click your user picture to update your status ;)

Too bad I use Firefox... great extension though. that makes me realize, why would i want it. Facebook sucks :P
