Intel introduces Wireless Display

I’ve always fancied dual screens and the way they display what’s on your laptop to a bigger television screen. And probably you did too. But don’t you think it’s high time we should be done with the cables involved? “Why not?” is what Intel has to say when it introduced the ‘Intel Wireless Display’ – an adapter to wirelessly display your laptop screen on television.

The setup is as simple as you can guess. You need a laptop with ‘Intel Wireless Display’ running on 2010 Intel Core Processor which will transmit the data wirelessly to the wireless display adapter. The adapter is to be connected to the TV using HDMI or Composite AV. Voila! The laptop screen’s on TV…wirelessly.

Here’s the official video from Intel:

Requirement: A laptop with ‘Intel Wireless Display’ powered by select 2010 Intel Core Processors.
