Japanese telecom company NTT DOCOMO and Tata teleservices joined hands to bring m-comics (mobile comics) service to Tata DOCOMO users called DOCOMICS. It will let users read popular comics in their ‘enhanced-for-mobile’ avatars.

Tata DOCOMO users can now download popular Marvel Comics and Manga using DOCOMICS, albeit at a Rs. 15 price tag per chapter of a comic. However, prices are expected to go down in the longer run and there will be no data transfer charges for downloading the comics.

Murat O Karadeniz, the Executive Advisor at NTT DOCOMO, Global Business Division, said, "It is a significant achievement of the collaboration between NTT DOCOMO and TTSL in order to develop and introduce enhanced services and technologies into Indian market".

Being a pioneer in introducing great services, Tata’s GSM brand DOCOMO is set to stir the mobile services scenario in India.
