Windows 7 After a long journey with handful of betas, Microsoft is going to RTM Windows 7 anytime now. Yes, Brandon LeBlanc has confirmed on Windows Team Blog that the release to manufacture (RTM) Windows 7 is going to happen in the second half of July 2009.

Although, RTM was supposed to be released much before, but Microsoft encountered some major bugs in the almost finalised version. So in order to deliver a perfect product, free from bugs, Microsoft decided to RTM Windows 7 after 15th July. It is expected that the RTM version of Windows 7 is much more stable and would be the closest prototype of the uber cool final version of Windows 7 which is scheduled to be released on October 22nd, 2009. LeBlanc states that Windows 7 will be available in many languages from around the world and that is why a lot of work is required to finalize the RTM version. He further stated that although RTM marks the final stage of engineering Windows 7 before its General Availability (GA), it will still continue to be ‘mingled’ by the engineers between RTM and GA on October 22, 2009.

So, it is confirmed news that RTM of Windows 7 can happen anytime now. Keep checking Tech Explorer regularly for updates regarding Windows 7.

yes. And it is experienced my many. IE8 which comes bundled with Windows 7 is integrating internet so amazingly. Drag-n-drop files on the internet just as u r doing inside ur computer. Very much internet friendly. In previous versions, one has to change many settings to set-up an internet connection. In Windows 7, just plug the internet line and within 2-3 clicks u r online. Even wireless internet connectivity has been amazingly simplified in Windows 7

Microsoft claims that, Windows 7 is more Internet friendly than any of its previous versions?
Is it true?

By far it has been the best. :)

"perfect product" ? lol!
