IE8 Ever wished to open multiple GMail or Yahoo accounts in your browser without signing out from one. This situation is faced by many people as they have multiple accounts from the same provider and the glitch arises when we wish to switch to a different account, we need to sign-out from the first and then log in to another. Using new tab or even new window of the browser doesn’t work. This is because your browser maintains a common cookie which has all the information about your current session activity.

However, in Internet Explorer 8, there is a new feature called ‘New Session’ which completely solves the above problem. It is located in the File menu. In IE8, press Alt+F to show up the File menu and select ‘New Session’. A new window will open which will maintain another cookie for its session.
