Google gets into browsers: Introducing Chrome

Google’s known for its ever expanding business and is surely ruling the roost. Now, the giant company has jumped into the browser business. Google just launched its browser, though in a Beta stage, on 2 Sep 2008 in 43 languages, calling it Chrome.

However, currently it supports only Windows XP and Windows Vista. Mac OS and Linux versions may be available soon. Primary goals were to increase security and stability in comparison with other browsers. More details over here.
