This may not come as a blow to most of the people as this was bound to happen sooner or later. YouTube, the giant itself, has increased the upper limit of the video being uploaded by the users. Now one can upload a video as big as 1 GB. However, according to me, this wont change the scenario completely. People may refrain from the hour-long process of uploading a video that is a gig in size. On the other hand, YouTube has increased the risk of copyrighted shows being uploaded on it. A pirate user may just upload a show without going through the hassle of cutting it down in parts. However. looking at the brighter side, videos of conferences, hour-long speeches, videos of lengthy tutorials can be uploaded easily and at one stretch.
